The ANI-HPNH is an advanced HDMI Scaler that outputs at selectable HD resolutions, upscaling to 1080p or downscaling to 480p. It is also a perfect solution for PAL/NTSC signal conversion, which can convert in either direction - 50Hz to 60Hz and 60Hz to 50Hz. This feature will allow you to connect any HDMI video source from a PAL region to a display in a NTSC region, or vice versa. For example, with this converter you can connect a European HD dvd player to an American TV using any standard HDMI cable.
The ANI-NPHN is also a full featured scaler with resolution conversion with no signal degredation. The ANI-NPHN allows for underscan or overscan setting. It also has a comprehensive OSD menu that allows a user to select a variety of output resolutions and adjust for best picture quality. It is ideal for using between incompatible HDMI sources and/or displays by changing picture resolution and frame rate of the HDMI source to match the native resolution of the HDMI display. Having a separate Optical Toslink or analog 3.5mm audio input/output, this scaler/converter allows you to route the audio signal directly to an audio receiver or surround sound system.
